Introduction
Lung Fu Shan Environmental Education Centre is proud to launch its new book The Pulse of Nature — Mid-Levels West, with its accompanying exhibition “The Pulse of Nature — Lung Fu Shan” (free to visit, Feb-Jun) to celebrate the centre’s 10th anniversary and to share new ways of understanding and exploring the world around us. Open from Feb 1 to Jun 9, the exhibition is a collection of sculpture, photography, video recording, drawings and short stories engaging with the topic of Mid-Levels West. The exhibition also includes newly found historical documents, showcasing the centre’s hundred-year heritage. Several free exhibition tours and guided tours led by the artists and writers will be held during the exhibition period. Event registration is available online.
For 130 summers and winters, this old bungalow sat in Lung Fu Shan. Follow 6 artists, 2 writers, architects and former residents of this mountain as they re-live the memories of a little hill house surrounded by city and mountain. Breathe in, and explore the world between man and nature, city and mountain forests.
